About Me
Hi there! My name is Alina McKee. I am 17 years old and currently completing my junior year of high school. From a young age, etiquette has been a fundamental part of my life, but it wasn’t until I stepped into leadership roles—both in FIRST robotics and athletics—that I truly understood its significance. At just 10 years old, I began my journey into the art of etiquette, and my passion for it has only grown. That’s why I founded Ladies of Elegance a club dedicated to helping young women develop confidence, poise, and an understanding of the lasting power of first impressions. Now, I’m excited to share my knowledge and expertise with others, helping them refine their skills and embrace the power of etiquette in all aspects of life.
Let’s make every first impression one that lasts!
Impact Of Etiquette In Todays World And STEM
The world we live in is rapidly evolving into one driven by STEM and robotics, with innovation at the forefront of nearly every industry. From engineering breakthroughs to automation, fields like robotics, AI, and technology are shaping the future. Programs like FIRST Robotics FTC and FRC prepare students to excel in these fields, but technical skills alone aren’t enough. Success in STEM—and in business—requires more than just intelligence; it demands strong communication, leadership, and professionalism. Knowing how to present yourself, collaborate effectively, and leave a lasting impression is just as critical as coding a robot or designing a circuit. Etiquette bridges the gap between technical expertise and professional success, ensuring that future innovators not only build the world but also lead it with confidence and grace.
